Assignment #3: Making Games IRL -- Collaborative project

Working as part of a team of 4 or 5, collaboratively devise, document and test a 'pervasive/big/location-based Game'.

Develop
Your game must include the game object and genre assigned in class.

The game should be playable either at RMIT or in the nearby city environs.

The game should take less than 20 minutes to play.

It must be playable by at least 4 people at a time.

You must provide any special paraphernalia that players will need (if they don't have it themselves).

Documentation
Must include:

    * Game overview
    * Aims of the game
    * Number of players
    * Physical location
    * Special paraphernalia (if any)
    * Goal/s of the game
    * How players will achieve these goals
    * Rules

Test and Feedback
Teams must test the game themselves prior to Presentation (week 12)

Each game will be played by at least 3 other teams - they will rank it and provide written feedback. You must provide sufficient copies of the rules and any other documentation necessary for them.

Team marks will depend on the ranking each team receives from other teams.

Each team will collectively assign a rank from 1 to 3 for each game. They may only use each rank once. Rankings must be given to Shiralee at end of class week 12.

Feedback must be submitted electronically. You will be provided with individual assessment guides and an electronic copy can be downloaded.

This feedback will be made available (with your name removed) for the class to read. It is strongly recommended that you read the feedback relating to your game.
