Exercise #3: Making Monsters -- the fine art of photocollage

a. Source at least 6 images either from scanned material or the Internet. These will be used to construct the various body parts of your monster.

b. Open a new document 1200px w x 800 px h

c. Using the path tool and selection tools, select sections of your source images. Copy them and paste on your new canvas.

d. Use the transform tools (edit- transform menu) to resize, rotate, distort etc your source materials. You may also use menu items from the modify menu and other tools on the tool bar to modify your image.

5. Position the components using the move/pointer tool. Merge layers.

6. Save as a jpg 600px wide and mail to me.
